We arrange the resettlement of selected refugees to the Netherlands as part of the Dutch resettlement programme, through which from 1986 onwards UNHCR registered refugees are invited to the Netherlands.
Additionally, IOM provides assistance to family members entitled to reunite with their family in the Netherlands by arranging their travel and by serving as contact point for relatives or sponsors in the Netherlands.
These activities are implemented in close cooperation with the IOM offices in countries of departure as well as with partner organizations in the Netherlands such as the Central Agency for the Reception of Asylum Seekers (COA), the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) and the Dutch Refugee Council (VWN).
