Besides the return assistance from IOM he also received
support from the Dutch Foundation Wereldwijd who have been
gathering second hand items for his garment business that he is
planning to set up with his wife.
However his box with garment material has not arrived yet as
Wereldwijd was still in the process of collecting tools when he
left for Sri Lanka.
The box is now shipped and is expected to arrive around the
15th of October. As soon as his box arrives he will notify IOM
Colombo so that IOM can assist him with the clearance of his
freight. It has in fact been arranged for that IOM act as the
consignee to avoid delays with immigration and customs.
With the support from IOM mr. T. received his materials
sooner than expected.
