The project which is funded by the Royal Netherlands Embassy has a four year duration and is implemented by IOM in close cooperation with the Ministry of Health and other health sector stakeholders.
The MIDA Ghana Health brain gain project facilitates the temporary return of Ghanaian health professionals from the diaspora for strengthening of human resources capacity in the health sector in Ghana. During the launching speeches have been held by the Deputy Minister of Health, Mrs. Gladys Ashitey, Dr. Marius de Jong from the Netherlands Embassy and IOM Accra Chief of Mission, Davide Terzi, and a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between IOM and the Ministry of Health.
