Many Cape Verdean Dutch people support their family in Cape Verde by sending money. "We wanted to make a contribution in some other way," says to Oscar Lima. Together with Isaura Frances Rocha he visited the island of Santo Antão in December 2009 to give training courses there for two weeks about communication, fundraising and setting up projects. IT manager Fernando Ortet will soon return to his homeland Cape Verde for good. Together with his uncle, he is going to develop a Portuguese company in security techniques.
