Changes in REAN Programme as of 1 April 2017

As of 1 April 2017, migrants with the Georgian nationality are excluded from voluntary return assistance from IOM under the REAN programme. Migrants who signed their application for voluntary departure from the Netherlands before 1 April 2017, remain eligible for this assistance.

Changes in REAN Programme as of 1 January 2017

Migrants from visa free countries will in principle no longer be eligible for voluntarily departure assistance from IOM under the ‘Return and Emigration Assistance from the Netherlands’ (REAN) programme per 1 January 2017. Migrants who have applied for voluntary return with IOM before 1 January 2017, are still entitled to REAN assistance. 
Migrants from countries sharing a border with the EU will no longer eligible be for the cash and/or in kind support contribution. Migrants who have applied for voluntary return with IOM before 1 January 2017, are still entitled to the cash and/or in kind contribution if they meet all other conditions.
Migrants from Mongolia will no longer be eligible for cash and/or in kind reintegration support. They are still entitled to the financial support contribution under REAN (OSB). Mongolians who have applied for voluntary return with IOM before 1 January 2017, are still entitled to cash and/or in kind reintegration support if they meet all other conditions.
