LOGO festival draft3.4With 1 out of 7 persons being a migrant in a certain period of their lives, migration is a topic very well discussed by public with various insights and opinions.
In order to provide a platform for you to share your thoughts and views on migration and possibly broaden your knowledge and interest about migration, IOM the Netherlands is launching a recurring migrant movie and debate event.

In the run up to International Migrants Day on 18 December, IOM the Netherlands is kicking off this event by screening the short movie: ‘Wallah, je te jure’ on 13 December 2016, in the Humanity House in The Hague. This short movie produced by IOM Niger shows the journey from Senegal to Libya and eventually Europe by portraying different migrants along the route. After screening, a debate will follow between an Ambassador of a relevant country, a representative of the Association of Netherlands Municipalities (VNG) and a Migration Scientist, leaving ample room for discussion and questions.
