Did you know that …

Developing economies will potentially face a shortage of nearly 45 million medium-skilled workers.

According to McKinsey Global Institute (2012), industrialization will raise demands for workers with secondary education and vocational training in India and developing economies of South Asia and Africa. Due to low rates of high school enrollment and completion, India could face a shortage of 13 million workers while younger developing economies could face about 31 million shortage. On the other hand, the same study envisages a surplus of about 90 to 95 million low skilled workers around the world
