This year's event is organised by a special committee on behalf of the Embassy of the Kingdom of The Netherlands in Accra and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the initiators of the annual event which started and was held in Almere since 2005. IOM in The Netherlands is one of the members of the Ghana Day Committee.
The main objective of the event is for those involved in development cooperation between Ghana and The Netherlands, such as government officials, diplomats, policy makers, representatives of NGO's, business partners and individuals to meet and discuss issues concerning their partnerships, as well as providing an opportunity for fruitful networking.
